Description
Optical transmitter for analogue and digital TV signals, both terrestrial andsatellite. This device receives the TV signals in the terrestrial and satellitebands in IF via coaxial cable and transmits them via single-mode opticalfibre with a wavelength of 1310 nm using a Class 1 laser.
Applications
Large-scale collective terrestrial and satellite TV installations in which, due tothe topology of the installation, the distribution is not possible using coaxialcable. The optical modulation is easily adjustable with two independentcontrols of the OMI for terrestrial and satellite TV. Satellite polarity can bechosen using switches that control the voltage (13/18V) and tone (0/22KHz)that are fed to the LNB.

Modular equipment. Zamak chassis with metallic side panels. F-typeconnectors for the input of the TV signals in the terrestrial band and thesatellite IF band. Female SC/APC connector for optical fibre.
